We have had MANY different logo's but have finally decided to stick with this one! It is made from a favourite picture of JT and has beeen turned black and white.
Let it be farm was thought of in many different ways. Our main reason is that why should you care if your horse is papered or registered with the best registry or has the highest point father. here we have both registered and non-registered horses, we cant tell the difference in their personalitys, yes maybe in there features or there strides, but we dont base our love on the highest ranking horse.
Not to mention, one of the most beautiful mini's in our herd has an unknown pedigree, but is always top in ribbons in all our local shows
( and even against registered horses!
At first the plan was to just get two riding horses, Missy and Winnie. Not long after we got them we had the farrier come out, and right away Winnie did not like him! This was a problem so we tried another farrier and still no use. We finally decided (with tears) that it was not safe for two teen girls to own Winnie.
We put winnie on the computer, and right away we had interested people. During this time we purchased sugar, our very first mini!
When someone e-mailed us and offered to trade winnie for two mini's ( J.T and Jelly) we jumped on the chance.
Soon later we decided that with all the babies around, we needed a 'boss' mare for our mini herd. Thats how Shania came up. Shania sounded perfect, and even better a package deal with callie! Once they were home we all fell in love with callie but Shania was just not a 'people horse', she was hard to catch and never came up to the fence.
We got a phone call and it was the lady who took winnie. she had yet another miniature that she offered to GIVE us! Again we jumped on the chance and were driving the road to get chippy!
When we found Felina, we felt she sounded perfect. we wanted to trade her for shania. Later we were driving up to missiauga and meeting a woman to trade minis!
Once Chippy and the girls were reaching maturity, chippy was getting rough and we had to sell him so the girls wouldnt get hurt. He went to a wonderful home!
Much later we decided that we need another riding horse. And like Magic Punky apeared! he was wonderful and again, like magic another package deal. Punky's little side kick was another mini named Muffin, who just warmed our hearts!
Our little farm is located in godfrey ontario. We own seven horses, including three riding horses and four Minis. As soon as we moved to Godfrey we bought horses, in no time everyone loved them!
This is our story and how all our mins came to "BE"
We now have our hands full with all theese minis and have sadly decided which ones need more time and have to find new homes.
